Bear Creek Friends is an evangelical, traditional Friends (Quaker) Church in a rural setting with a growing congregation of all ages (infant to senior citizen). As our congregation continues to grow—having more than 100 people most Sunday mornings—we are in need of a spiritual leader dedicated to reaching the next generation for Jesus Christ (Psalm 145:4; Matthew 28:18-20). We are looking for an Associate Pastor who has the energy, skills, and compassion to (1) minister to and mobilize our youth for the gospel and (2) work alongside our Lead Pastor to love and teach and be an example to our whole congregation and surrounding community.

The Pastor of Worship, working in collaboration with the Lead Pastor, will be responsible for cultivating welcoming and spiritually enriching Sunday worship services where individuals from all backgrounds can connect with God and each other. This role encompasses oversight of all aspects of worship production, including audio-visual (AV) elements, to ensure impactful worship experiences. The Pastor of Worship will be a "pastor-first" leader who considers themselves a shepherd for the entire congregation, extending their care and guidance beyond just the worship ministry. This role is open to both men and women who are called to pastoral leadership.
