Associate Pastor

Bear Creek Friends is an evangelical, traditional Friends (Quaker) Church in need of a spiritual leader to help us reach the next generation for Jesus Christ (Psalm 145:4; Matthew 28:18-20). Our ideal Youth Pastor has a passion to shepherd, lead, and encourage youth, children, and their families. They feel strongly about presence in the lives of young people and leading them to Christ. They feel strongly about educating and leading children to Christ. They organize and schedule the youth and children’s ministries. They know how to get on the level of youth and children and be a little fun, silly, and goofy while guiding the young people toward Jesus.

IYM Program Intern

The Indiana Yearly Meeting Internship Program is designed to provide a unique experience in ministry and spiritual development through the summer camping program at Quaker Haven Camp. As a Program Intern, you will play a vital role in facilitating and supporting the various activities and operations of the QHC summer programming. The core of this internship is to model Christian service, contribute to the overall spiritual and recreational experiences of campers, and cultivate the environment in which campers of all ages may have a personal encounter with Christ. As a supporting role, you will work closely with camp staff and leadership to ensure the smooth execution of daily activities and programming, eliminate obstacles that could prevent counselors from effectively engaging with campers, and uphold the values and mission of Indiana Yearly Meeting and Quaker Haven Camp.

Description Title

The IYM Media Intern supports the Quaker Haven Camp Summer Program Team by capturing and sharing camp life through video, photography, and social media. This role documents activities, worship experiences, camper interactions, and the overall spirit of QHC while providing hands-on experience in faith-based media storytelling within a Christ-centered camp environment.
